We have been overwhelmed by your support over the past few months with our furry food bank project. The farm is the hub for the project, which involves several other charities including Horse Sense Wirral, Whitegates Animal Sanctuary, Under our Wing, Tortoise Rescue, Wirral Hedgehog Rescue, Paws in Need and Pawprints Wildlife rescue.

Anyone can drop off any spare vegetables and some fruits, tins of dog and cat food and bird seed etc at the farm and it gets sorted and distributed to the charities involved. As we have had to stop all our face to face fundraising activity we have struggled to find the cash to feed our animals, so it has been a great help that the community has been so generous.

We are looking into working with a local supermarket in the near future and to formalise an arrangement with them to use all the vegetables and suitable foods that they can no longer sell. Keep your fingers crossed!
